Syracuse FC Announces Inaugural Tryouts
Syracuse FC will host Open Tryouts for its 2017 inaugural team on Sunday, March 26, 2017. Players are invited to compete for a spot on the new NPSL team, under the supervision of GM/Head Coach Matt Tantalo. Tryouts will be held at Onondaga Community College’s David W. Murphy Field, Syracuse FC’s home venue.
"Our region is rich in soccer talent,” says Tantalo, “and we want every high level soccer player in the area to have a shot at these inaugural tryouts. Our roster will be comprised of talented players with local ties as well as top level players from outside the area.”
A registration fee of $75 is due at time of registration. This special inaugural rate covers two sessions, a Syracuse FC performance t-shirt ($20 value) and complementary admission to all 2017 Syracuse FC regular season home games ($60 value).
All interested players must register in advance at syracusefcshop.net/tryouts/ and bring the completed mandatory Liability Waiver to the Tryouts. Players under the age of 18 must also bring the completed Minor Liability Waiver. Registrants will be notified by email of the March 26th check-in and session times. Space is limited and on-line registration may close at any time, so please register early.
