Luiz Mota (“MOH-tah”)

5’10”, 159 lbs                                                                             
Birthdate: 7/25/92




The 5’10” forward joined the Syracuse Silver Knights in 2016, after playing with the St. Louis Ambush in 2015. 


Mota began his soccer career in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He came to the U.S. in 2011 to attend Ashford University in Iowa, where he played in every game during his four years and helped the program reach its first ever national semifinal.  Mota was named to the A​II​ All Tournament Team in 2013.
