Jerjer Gibson Signs with Syracuse FC

Syracuse FC announced Friday that it has signed Jerjer Gibson to its inaugural team.

The 6’2” forward has played with the Syracuse Silver Knights since 2015 and was tied for third in points last season with 17 goals and 6 assists. Prior to that he played for the Baltimore Blast.

Gibson is a native of Monrovia, Liberia and came to the U.S. in 2007 at the age of 16. He played for McCaskey High School and Lanco United in Lancaster, PA before joining the Wilmington University Wildcats.

Additional player signings will be announced throughout the coming weeks as Syracuse FC continues to develop its inaugural roster. The team’s first ever game, against NPSL defending champions AFC Cleveland, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20 at OCC’s David W. Murphy Field.
